Why it matters

Level is everything

Western States builds its own dollies, jacks, and hydraulic rigging in-house. Every rig is engineered to keep a building dead-level from the moment it leaves the old foundation to the moment it sets down on the new one.

Level is what prevents cracked plaster, split framing, and stressed joints. It's the difference between a house that arrives ready to live in and one that arrives needing repairs.

Hydraulic dollies & jacks

Dead-level over uneven ground

The hydraulic dollies raise and lower independently or together, so the structure stays level over grades, crowns, and soft ground — and can ride low enough to clear wires without a utility crew.

The unified jacking system lifts a building evenly at every point, which is why our raising and lowering work leaves minimal to no cracking.

Purpose-built

A crane truck built for the job

When the right rig didn't exist, Western States built one. Our crane truck was custom-fabricated in-house for structural moving — a chassis built from the ground up around a structural I-beam, not adapted from equipment meant for something else.

The shop

Where the equipment comes from

Fabrication, machining, and hydraulics under one roof. When a move needs a tool that doesn't exist yet, this is where it gets built.
